Asset-Free Quoting Mode

Gomochas quote creation is now more flexible. Personnel no longer have to develop quotes locked behind asset selection, which limited the quoting workflow to existing installations or known equipment.

Users can generate complete quotes, including groups, lines, features, and pricing, without first selecting or associating an asset. Default, asset-based workflow behavior remains unchanged for organizations that rely on it.

Gomocha understands that not every quote starts from an existing asset. For instance, sales teams offer new products or services to customers, but requiring an asset in these cases becomes a blocker. This 5.2.3 update removes that friction.

Order-to-Quote Traceability Link

With Gomocha, your team will experience a streamlined workflow. Personnel now have a direct, clickable link from a service order to its originating quote. Users can quickly view the original quote details without needing to navigate away or search manually.

Previously, users had to search for the often-referenced original quote manually or rely on memory. Users can now save time by eliminating the need to cross-reference quotes. This update also reduces errors caused by missing or misinterpreted quote context.

Auto-Forecast Quoted Materials to Service Order

Companies can now automatically transfer materials listed in a signed quote into the generated service order as forecasted items. All materials from a quote are automatically added to the order as forecasted usage and are accessible to both planners and technicians on Gomochas platform.

Planners and technicians are on the same page regarding what was agreed upon in the quote, allowing them to prepare and execute the work properly. Personnel are no longer required to manually enter quoted materials into service orders, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and efficiency.

Create Orders Without an Order Number and Easily Link Back from Your Back-Office System

Your system can now easily create service orders in Gomocha without needing to supply a Gomocha-specific order number. You can also look up the order on the platform using your internal reference number.

Gomocha will automatically generate an order number and send it back to you. Your back-office system can store this number and use it for any future updates to the order. You can also request an ID from Gomocha early in your process — before sending the order or quote details.

With this updated feature, systems stay aligned, and you can easily track and manage order lifecycles.

Lead and Quote Management Workflow Enhancement

A structured and enforceable workflow to manage prospects and customers is possible within Gomocha. This feature governs how your organization captures, engages, quotes, and converts leads into active customers while maintaining a consistent approach to tracking interactions and follow-ups.

Every prospect must have a recorded origin. Prospects can review, provide feedback, and accept or reject quotes. Users can classify entities as either Prospect or Customer.

With this Gomocha capability, personnel are empowered by a consistent approach to managing leads, which removes ambiguity around lead sources, executes robust sales tracking, and supports automated transitions from quote to service execution.
