Spijker & Van Ouwerkerk Moves from Paper-Based System to FMP360 ONLINE30 Jan 2017
Before implementing FMP360 Online, Spijker & van Ouwerkerk, a manufacturer of upscale swimming pools, saunas and whirlpools, was a paper-based operation. They used printed work orders and an Outlook calendar, where contracts and agreements were planned and produced. These agreements contained little or no information regarding the actual performance of the contract, and processing the printed work orders was time-consuming. Work slips were routinely issued to the office one to two weeks after work was completed, which often delayed timely invoicing.
In January 2017, the company launched FMP360 Online to streamline its service and maintenance activities and now works with a digital planning board, giving it a real-time overview of scheduled jobs and providing a better understanding of the actual duration of service issues and maintenance tasks.
- The FMP360 Online platform supports quick and easy recording of hours, registration of materials, submission of invoices, and other activities.
- Digital work orders are sent directly to the customer by email as soon as work is completed, allowing the company to bill the customer shortly thereafter and helping ensure quicker collection of payment for work performed.
- The back-office efficiency that’s made possible by FMP360 helps ensure that the services delivered are as top-quality as its products.
CEO Harold Vugs remarked:
“Our interaction with customers is full of dynamics. FMP360 helps us to organize our activities to achieve high customer satisfaction ratings.”
