Most Field Service Solutions dispatch orders to one technician at a time. With “Crew Assist,” companies can dispatch multiple orders to a team.
With Crew Assist, it’s possible to dispatch multiple orders to a team. Team members are able to pick an order from a list and start this order. Other team members will be informed who is executing which order. An order that’s executed by a team member can’t be executed by other team members.
“With Crew Assist, we now support the functionality that our customers requested.” - Tjeerd van Beek.
Using Crew Assist, maintenance organizations are now able to assign multiple orders to a team, so they can decide during the job who will pick up which order, instead of assigning one order to one technician. After a technician completes an order, he can pick up the next one on the list. Of course, a technician can search through all orders in the job, so if the technician is in front of an asset, he can search for the order that belongs to that asset.
In particular, service and maintenance organizations that work as a team at major installations and sites with multiple assets are very happy with this new functionality.
“It’s like supporting project activities. Using Crew Assist, our maintenance teams at big locations are much more efficient.” - global field service organization and valued Gomocha customer.
When a technician finishes an order, this order will disappear from the list and from the overview of who is doing what.
“In the future we will enhance Crew Assist with more features and functionality, so our customers can use it exactly how it best fits in their situation.” - Tjeerd van Beek.
